Orion gritted his teeth and fired up his resolve. It was now or never!

There was a secret about this world that Orion could never know: he was an NPC. His whole existence had been programmed in code.

It was impossible for an NPC to win the Giga Tournament.

All 100 Filaments were meant for human players. Orion was destined to lose.

NPCs were allowed to grow strong — players loved the challenge…

…but the code kept NPCs from ever learning the truth about UFB.

In fact, some of the strongest NPCs were Kaiju-level monsters.

And these monsters were forced to fight in the Giga Tournament too.

As the doors began to open, the fighters made their final preparations.
